Flood alerts were issued by the Environment Agency today for the River Thame and the River Ray.
Both alerts were issued following heavy rain overnight and stayed in force throughout the day.
The first covered the River Thame and Chalgrove Brook, from Marsworth to Dorchester, and the agency said water levels could flood low-lying land and roads, especially in the Thame Bridge and Stadhampton areas.
However, flooding of homes was not predicted.
The second alert was issued for the River Ray, particularly in the Lower Arncott area near Bicester.
