A support service for deaf children at Rush Common School in Abingdon is set to be approved for closure today.
Oxfordshire County Council cabinet member for children, education and families, Melinda Tilley, has been advised to close the centre as the school does not have any children with hearing problems.
The county council also said there are no young children in the south of the county who would be eligible for a place at the hearing impairment resource base in the near future.
