Councillors are to back a study that proposes to keep the way views Oxford’s famous skyline are protected from developers.
The city council’s east area planning committee will meet on Wednesday to discuss the Oxford ‘view cones’ study.
Under current regulations the dreaming spires must be visible from 10 viewpoints, known as ‘view cones’, including across the north eastern hills and from Rose Hill.
Councillors on the planning committee have been recommended to back the study, which was supported by the west area planning committee on December 10.
