A 45-year-old man died in a car crash on New Year’s Day.
The vehicle, a silver Honda hatchback, hit a fence and tree in Lechlade Road, Faringdon. The driver, from Gloucestershire, died at the scene.
A spokeswoman from South Central Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a car on its roof on the A417 Lechlade Road at 10.15pm.
“There was one male patient, believed to be in his forties, but sadly he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
Thames Valley Police said his next of kin had been informed.
