IT is interesting to read the correspondence with regard to councillors Rose, Bulmer and Hudspeth and the arrogance which they show to those who ask perfectly reasonable questions and ultimately pick up the tab for their decisions.
I well remember the debacle of totally useless yellow lines in, I think it was, Headington which was dismissed as a small part of a large budget. Just project this attitude on to the total picture.
I am surprised that they manage to fit in 18 hour days when there is barely an issue of the Oxford Mail without a photograph of them leaning out of a train, staring into a hole or standing in front of a grit lorry.
Just read the article (December 30) in the Daily Mail by Richard Littlejohn which totally encapsulates the situation nationwide.
