APPLICATIONS are open for two new independent members on the Thames Valley Police and Crime Panel.
The panel helps to scrutinise Police and Crime Commissioner Anthony Stansfeld.
It is made up of one councillor from each of the 18 councils in the Thames Valley area as well as two independent co-opted members.
Those with a background in community safety, criminal justice or volunteering are encouraged to apply, with applications from under-represented groups particularly welcomed.
Members must be able to dedicate about one day a month and attend a minimum of six meetings a year across the Thames Valley. The closing date for applications is Monday, January 12.
