You can never really expect post to turn up on time over the Christmas period. The Oxford Mail’s own investigation earlier this week reported how almost half of the letters we sent were not delivered on time.
But spare a thought for Celia Pagel, previously of the Accountancy Training Centre at Eynsham Hall.
She was sent a chirpy postcard from a pal visiting Wales but only now – some 30 years after being sent – has the card reached its destination. And in typical fashion, Celia wasn’t around when the postman knocked.
Fingers crossed Eynsham Hall manage to track Celia down and get the message to its intended recipient.
