AT THIS time of year, we can usually expect to have had at least one fall of snow – and that was certainly the case in 1978.
It didn’t snow at Christmas, but by early January, large parts of Oxfordshire were covered.
As usual, it proved a nuisance to motorists, but not to these children at Great Tew, near Chipping Norton – pictured – who had some seasonal fun on the way to school.
