A 45-year-old man died last night in a car crash in Lechlade Road, Faringdon.
The accident happened at about 10.20pm when a silver Honda hatchback crashed into a fence and tree.
The driver, from Gloucestershire, died at the scene.
A spokeswoman from South Central Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a car on its roof on the A417 Lechlade Road at 10.15pm.
“There was one male patient, believed to be in his 40s, but sadly he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
Spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police Rhianne Pope said: “His next of kin have been informed.”
A spokeswoman for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue said: “We were called at 10.19pm to reports of an overturned car in Faringdon.
“Fire officers made the vehicle safe, no one was trapped inside the vehicle.”
