Ambulances were called to 225 emergencies in Oxfordshire on Christmas Day this year, down from 226 last Christmas Day.

The biggest increase was on Saturday, December 27, when paramedics were called to 305 incidents, up 43 per cent from last year’s 214.
Figures for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day were not available last night.
