HERE’S a theatre production that comes with no strings attached.
The North Wall Arts Centre in South Parade, Oxford, hosted a production of puppetry and multimedia technology.
Called Feral, the production tells the story of Joe, who lives in a small seaside town and witnesses its decline.
The one-off show was put on by Edinburgh-based theatre company Tortoise in a Nutshell. Performer Arran Howie, 27, said: “Joe tells the story through drawings and pictures of his childhood. It starts showing the perfect seaside town but then there is a lot of economic decline.
“It is filmed using live video cameras and it is relayed on to a screen so it creates a live animation on stage. There is also a live video mixer.”
