Had 62 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 microgrammes. Fined £240 and told to pay a £24 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs. Banned from driving for 16 months.
Seif Sultan, 28, of Champion Way, Oxford, convicted of assault by beating in Grange Way, Oxford, on February 24. Community order made and told to do 70 hours of unpaid community work in the next 12 months. Told to pay £50 compensation, £60 victims’ surcharge and £350 costs.
Ian Howard, 51, of Brunel Crescent, Grove, convicted of assault by beating at the Botley Interchange on April 24. Also convicted of driving without due care and attention at Botley Interchange on the same date. Fined a total of £800 and told to pay £100 compensation, £50 victims’ surcharge, and £400 costs. Licence endorsed with five penalty points.
Imran Khan, 30, of Kenilworth Avenue, Oxford, admitted failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis at Abingdon Town Football Club, Culham Road, Abingdon, on July 19. Fined £400 and told to pay £40 victims’ surcharge and £200 costs. Banned from driving for 16 months.
Lee Pullen, 32, of Redwood Close, Greater Leys, Oxford, admitted entering Bury Knowle Health Centre in London Road, Oxford, as a trespasser and stealing two envelopes of cash and a digital camera worth a total of £3,582 on March 18. Admitted criminal damage to a front door and a silver Mini in Campion Close, Oxford, on July 11. Sentenced to 17 weeks in prison. Told to pay a total of £375.80 compensation. Restraining order also made.
Andrew Achilleos, 52, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted stealing meat from Tesco in Oxford on September 22. Given a 28-day prison sentence suspended for 12-months. Told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge.
Terrance Kerrigan, 50, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting a bottle of wine worth £5.99 from Tesco in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on September 8. Fined £50 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
Daniel Lewendon, 30, of Clarks Row, Oxford, admitted theft of three meat joints worth £50.98 from Sainsbury’s in Westgate Shopping Centre, Oxford, on September 23. Sentenced to eight weeks in prison. Told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge.
Stephen Rushmer, 50, of Magdalen Road, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Little Clarendon Street, Oxford, on May 19. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge. Anti-Social Behaviour Order (Asbo) banning him from being possession of an open container of alcohol in public in Oxford and swearing or using insulting or sexually explicit language towards any person in public in Oxford.
Julie Grant, 42, of Webbs Close, Wolvercote, admitted stealing make-up and coke to the value of £28.34, from Boots in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on August 8. Fined £25 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
Craig Wicks, 34, of no fixed address, admitted possessing 0.2g of diamorphine, a Class A drug, in Cowley on March 17. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
Shane Matthews, 42, of Compton Drive, Abingdon, admitted growing five cannabis plants in Abingdon on September 5. Ordered to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work, pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Paul Armstrong, 34, of Minchery Road, Littlemore, admitted assaulting a man by beating him in Chillingworth Crescent, Oxford, on September 6. Ordered to attend alcohol dependency treatment for six months and pay £50 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Shirley McDonagh, 22, of Fiennes Road, Oxford, admitted stealing £478.78 worth of goods from Sainsbury’s in Didcot and £300 worth of cosmetics from Superdrug in Didcot on August 2. Given a community order requiring 12 months of supervision and pay a £60 victims’ surcharge.
Lisa-Marie Parker, 28, of Briary Way, Shilton Park, Carterton, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order given at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on December 18. Fined £75.
Toni Clay, 21, of Whitecross, Abingdon, admitted failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis at Abingdon Police Station on June 3. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £200 costs. Banned from driving for three years.
Alastair McNish, 54, of The Oval, Rose Hill, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on June 24. Given a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Robert Appleby, 23, of Chowns Close, Thame, admitted damaging a sign to the value of £115 belonging to Reaston-Brown estate agents in Thame on August 16. Fined £100, ordered to pay £115 compensation, £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Ryan Ingram, 21, of The Oval, Didcot, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Didcot on August 11. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Lorraine Tomlinson, 57, of Wilson Spackman Court, Newbury Street, Wantage, admitted stealing a £14.99 bottle of rum from B&M Bargains, Wantage, on September 8 and a bottle of rum and a bottle of Pepsi worth £15.98 on September 10. Also admitted stealing a bottle of Bacardi rum worth £17.50 from Waitrose in Wantage on March 20. Fined £120 and ordered to pay £48.47 compensation and a £20 victims’ surcharge.
