A 19-year-old pedestrian who suffered life-threatening head injuries in a collision with a car was still fighting for his life yesterday.
The man was walking on the A4260 between Twyford and Bodicote, near Banbury, at 1am on Monday when the collision with a red Hyundai happened.
He was taken to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital where he was still in a critical condition yesterday afternoon, police said.
Thames Valley Police referred the incident to the Independent Police Complaints Commission because it had contact with the man before the collision.
