A WOMAN was injured in a M40 car crash moments after a road rage incident, police have said.
The victim, who is in her 20s, was driving a silver Vauxhall Astra near junction 7 of the northbound carriageway at about 10.20pm on Friday when her car was involved in a collision with a blue Nissan Micra and left the carriageway.
She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and discharged the day after.
Police spokeswoman Hannah Williams said a motorist had been behaving aggressively and flashing their headlights before the crash.
Investigating officer PC Andrew Mott, from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, said: "I would like to speak to a motorist who was overtaken by a blue Nissan Micra and a silver Vauxhall Astra at this time on Friday.
"I am keen to trace this driver as they may have information which would assist the investigation."
