TANGLED power lines have caused police to shut off a road in Bicester this morning.
Kings End is currently closed off by Thames Valley Police.
Force spokeswoman Hannah Williams said police were called at about 10.15am to reports of tangled power lines.
She said: “We have put in a road closure due to a problem with some overhead wires.”
Southern Electric spokesman Gavin Steel said engineers were on site and preparing to make repairs.
He said: “At the moment we don’t have any reports of customers being affected.”
But he said anyone who has lost power should call the firm on 08000727282, adding: “We would like to apologise to customers and motorists for any inconvenience.”
