A 38-year-old man has appeared in court accused of allowing a dog to attack another man.

Malcolm Pipkin appeared at Oxford Crown Court yesterday to admit unlawful wounding after he attacked Ben McMenemy in Cornmarket on March 11.

But Pipkin, of Lucy Faithful House in Speedwell Street, denied being in charge of a dangerously out of control dog. He was bailed pending a trial on December 8.
