A 19-year-old man was fighting for his life in hospital last night after an incident that has been referred to the police watchdog.
The man was involved in a collision with a red Hyundai while walking on the A4260 between Twyford and Bodicote at about 1am yesterday morning.
He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital where Thames Valley Police said he was still in a critical condition last night.
The force has referred the incident to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) because it had contact with the man before the collision, but TVP has not revealed any more details.
