VINTAGE vehicle and aircraft enthusiasts gathered in Bicester for a “Sunday Brunch Scramble” at a former bomber station.
Held by Bicester Heritage at its premises on the former RAF Bicester site, historic car, aeroplane and motorcycle owners displayed their collections, with some offering rides and workshops as well. Daniel Jamin, from Luton, came down with his 1930’s German glider.
The 65-year-old said: “There was a fair amount of interest in it and we had people coming over and asking questions, which was great.
“It was the first time I had come down to visit, but I know one of the organisers and did it as a favour.
“There were a huge number of vehicles on display with all sorts of things – from tractors to top of the range Porsches and Ferraris.”
He added: “It was good fun and the weather held out.”
