YOUNG people have made their estate proud after hosting a dinner and awards do.
The Thrive Young Achievers Dinner was held at the end of last month to celebrate good work on the estate.

More than 20 youths helped put together the event on Saturday, September 27, and did everything from the food to the decoration of the room at Headington Baptist Church. Chelsea Gomm, 21, was given the Inspiring Leadership Award for her work in helping to set up a Kids Club for youngsters on the estate.
Thrive:Barton team leader Jem Todd said: “We really believe that young people in the community are the key to change.

“Chelsea is one of the young people who really wanted to do something practical for the children on the estate.
“(She) is someone on the estate who stands out and really sets an example.”
Chelsea said more than 30 people had attended the youth club.
She said: “I used to do child care at college and I wanted to help young people grow up and look up to older people.”
The young woman was also praised for her hard work in getting a job to help pay bills at home.
Skye Fiddes and Chelsea Gomm
Teenager Skye Fiddes was handed the Triumph Award after overcoming difficulty to open and talk to youth workers, Thrive:Barton workers said.
The 14-year-old also supported her older brother Dylan to get a place at college.
The Teamwork Award was given to The Music Group which is made up of Mark, 16, and Skye Fiddes, and Becca Goodwin, 18.
The group write lyrics to inspire themselves and others to make Barton a better place. Mark said: “We have the experience of being on Barton together which makes the bond stronger.”
And Adam Overton, a youth worker for Thrive:Barton, said: “What is clear from my work on the estate is there is masses of creativity and potential and enthusiasm from young people.”
The three-course meal put on by the youngsters saw 90 guests served sharing platters, lamb shank mains, and an ice cream dessert.
