Motorcyclist, 18, taken to hospital after collision
AN 18-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital tonight after being involved in a collision with a car.
The crash happened at about 6.30pm in Carterton Road, close to the main entrance of RAF Brize Norton, a spokeswoman for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
A fire crew on the way back from another incident were the first of the emergency services at the scene and the road was temporarily closed, she added.
South Central Ambulance spokeswoman Michelle Archer said the man was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford but could not give details of his condition.
