A MOTORYCLIST mounted the pavement and drove through a park after being asked to stop by police.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to the incident, which it is treating as dangerous driving.
It said officers asked the rider to stop after a near road traffic collision at about 12.30pm in Bloxham Road at the junction with Beargarden Road.
It said: "However, the motorcyclist failed to stop, mounted the pavement then rode past Harriers View School and through Easington Park.”
They were wearing a black and grey motocross-style helmet with goggles, a black hooded top and dark-coloured jeans.
The motorcycle was a blue scrambler-style bike with red stickers and L plates on the front and back.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and has been bailed to November 23.
Anyone with information should called PC Duncan Vale on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
