COCKTAIL lovers in Oxford could have a new stomping ground by the new year.
Cocktail bar chain Be At One is to take over the former Clem’s nightclub, in St Clement’s Street, which closed in May.
Be At One, which has three branches in central London and one in Bristol, aims to open in January after refurbishing the property.
Steven Locke, director at Be At One, said: “We are really excited about this new venue. We see it quickly becoming an institution for all the people who appreciate great cocktails in Oxford.”
In September last year Clem’s nightclub painted its frontage with a graffiti-style mural without planning permission.
Former owner Luis Carrera reached an agreement with Oxford City Council planning officials to repaint the building in red and blue.
