A water main has burst on the B4495 Headley Way in Headington.
The water main is near Staunton Road and the entrace to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Thames Water spokesman said the four inch pipe burst at about 6am but was not thought to be causing any traffic problems.
He said: “Engineers are en route at the moment.”
