Man still fighting for life after Sandford Road bridge fall
A man was yesterday still fighting for his life in hospital after falling from a bridge and colliding with a vehicle.
The man fell from the Sandford Road bridge - between the Heyford Hill roundabout and the Kassam Stadium/Sandford-on-Thames turn-off - and on to the southbound carriageway of the A4074 at about 2pm on Monday.
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Rhianne Pope said yesterday he was still at the John Radcliffe Hospital in a critical condition.
