Man left with broken jaw and fractured eye socket after assault outside The Lodge in Oxford
POLICE have arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm following an assault outside burlesque club The Lodge in Oxpens Road, Oxford.
Officers were called to the former lap-dancing club at about 4.30am to reports of an assault.
Spokesman Rhianne Pope said a 28-year-old man was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with a suspected broken jaw and fractured eye socket.
She said a 27-year-old man was arrested and remains in police custody.
