Lecturers at Oxford University who are part of the University and College Union (UCU) will decide in the next few weeks whether they want to strike in a row over pensions.
The union said changes would see lecturers lose thousands of pounds from their pensions.
Union general secretary Sally Hunt said: “Staff see their pensions as deferred pay and are understandably angry at the impact these proposals would have. We want a solution that protects the pensions of staff and ensures the scheme remains attractive to new members of the profession.”
