- The scene, from reader @LoCO2Oxford
A MAN is fighting for his life after falling from a bridge over the A4074 and then colliding with a vehicle.
The man fell from the Sandford Road bridge - between the Heyford Hill roundabout and the Kassam Stadium/Sandford-on-Thames turn-off - and on to the southbound carriageway at about 2pm.
Police spokeswoman Francine Rodrigues said the man then collided with a vehicle.
He has been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital and is said to be in a critical condition.
The air ambulance was called to the scene but it is not known if it transported the man to the hospital.
The vehicle is being taken away by police, she added.
The southbound carriageway re-opened at about 5.15pm.
