A STEADY hand was needed in this game to avoid touching a wire and setting off a bell which eliminated the contestant.
It was one of many stalls and attractions at the 50th anniversary celebrations of Rose Hill Community Association in Oxford in 1987.
The association started in a wooden hut in Ashhurst Way in 1937, but the building was burned down in 1955. It was replaced with new premises at The Oval.
During the celebrations, presentations were made to two long-serving officials, president Bill Buckingham and vice-president George Cooper.
