WANTAGE MP Ed Vaizey has called on employers and jobseekers to join a job fair at Milton Park.
The minister of state for culture and the digital economy has worked with MEPC’s Milton Park and Didcot’s Jobcentre Plus team to arrange the fair at Milton Park.
With the event on Friday, November 14, Mr Vaizey said he wants to help his constituents to find jobs in the “buoyant employment market in the local area”.
He said: “I know that employment levels in the local area are very good, so some employers struggle to find the right staff, while some local people can’t quite find the right job for them.

“By bringing the two together with the support of MEPC and the assistance of Jobcentre Plus I hope we can help everyone involved.”
The fair will run from 10am to 2pm at Milton Park Innovation Centre.
Head of leasing and development Philip Campbell said: “This year at Milton Park we have seen employee numbers significantly increase in response to the improving economy. By connecting local employers with those people looking for jobs we can all play a small part in helping to improve people’s lives and our county’s economy.”
