OXFORD’S annual Open Doors event has created a stream of new customers for a Cumnor photographer.
Ian Fraser, 63, has snapped some of the city’s most famous landmarks in his work taking architectural pictures.
He said the recent Open Doors weekend has piqued interest in his Oxford University college prints.
The annual event drew thousands of people to see sites that are usually closed to the public, including the colleges.
Mr Fraser said: “It has been great, really fantastic to see and to know that people are interested in buying local art.
“I have seen about a 25 per cent increase in sales and they all seem to be from people who live in the area. People are always interested in the colleges but getting to go behind the scenes has increased the interest.”
