A COUNCIL team leader has today been convicted of sexually assaulting a woman in her bedroom.
Peter Brown, from Oxfordshire County Council's roads and transport team, was found guilty of the September 2011 crime by Oxford Crown Court jurors after nine hours of deliberation.
The 56-year-old Christian, from Drayton near Banbury, had claimed he had only touched the woman's leg in a supportive gesture.
But the victim told jurors he groped her after months of inapproriate behaviour.
Brown has been released on bail to be sentenced in November.
