Princess Anne is to officially open the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum today.
The museum, which opened to the public in July, houses collections from the Oxfordshire Yeomanry and the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. She will also officially open Oxford University’s Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology at the Old Road Campus in Headington.
On Friday the Princess Royal will be at Harris Manchester College in Oxford to hear about the college’s involvement in planning the D-Day landings and is due to attend the biennial meeting of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene at Oxford Town Hall in St Aldate’s.
