Mini is to launch its first five-door hatchback, which will be produced at the Cowley plant.
The 5-Door Mini Hatch, pictured, comes just six months after the introduction of Mini’s newest design of three-door hatchback.
The new model will feature 67 litres more space inside and a new Cooper SD engine variant as well as increased legroom.
The car, which comes in 13 different colours, will cost from £14,350, £600 more than the equivalent three-door model and goes on sale from October 25.
