IF we need constitutional change to give our English MPs the right to determine policy affecting England only, to be consistent this must surely start with an English referendum. As we have seen in Scotland an opportunity to have a real say has increased involvement in the politics.
This referendum vote could take place, to keep costs down, next May alongside the General Election giving us the added advantage of creating greater involvement at a time when so many people have become disenchanted with our democratic system.
