THE head of transport for the city is confident all of the budget for the council’s Cycle City scheme will be spent this year.
The Oxford Mail reported in July that only £15,000 of the £362,000 had been spent.
City council board member John Tanner said lots of people had responded to an appeal for ideas on ways to spend the money.
Projects to be completed by April, which will use up the money, include:
Replacing a barrier in Queen’s Lane s Resurfacing cycle lanes in Meadow Lane and Hinksey Park and improving parking at Redbridge and Seacourt Park and Rides
