AN 11-year-old boy was the victim of an attempted robbery in Cowley last Thursday.
He was walking along Hollow Way at about 3.30pm when a teenager grabbed him and attempted to steal his property, police said today.
The teenager, who was aged between 16 and 17, was described as white and of a skinny build with long ginger hair and freckles. He was wearing a black hooded jacket and blue jeans.
He did not manage to steal anything from the victim and ran off.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact PC Paul Jones at St Aldates police station by calling 101.
