Once again, the people of Woodstock, well some of them, are squealing ‘Not in my back yard’ if a proposed 1,500 homes go up and they will lose their view. (Woodstock estate plan would double town size, Oxford Mail, September 4) How lucky they are to have such a view and how selfish to deny others the right to have their own homes.
I guess the proposed new dwellings will not be cheap.
Thus the new buyers will not lower the tone of the town.
Woodstock is a lovely town and does well from tourism. I would not wish to live there among such snobs.
