Electricity cables collapsed after a blaze in a large garden shed in Yarnton on Sunday.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called at 3.49pm to the fire at a home in Woodstock Road, Yarnton.
Three fire engines, including two from Oxford and one from Kidlington, attended the scene.
Firefighters found the fire had spread to a wooden telegraph pole and many electric cables fell down.
They handed the incident to Southern Electric at 6.12pm.
