FOUR people were arrested yesterday after a fight broke out in the city centre on Saturday evening.
Thames Valley Police were called to a dispute involving a group of teenage boys just after 8pm.
A fight broke out outside The Bell and Compass pub and Castle Newsagents, in New Road, after a dispute began in the shop.
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Hannah Williams said it continued into the street before members of the public became involved.

Three 16-year-old boys and one 27-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of affray and bailed until Saturday, October 25.
A man was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with head injuries after being assaulted during the dispute, a South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman said.
Thames Valley Police said that two teenagers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Vladimir Mihaylov was walking past with his girlfriend when the trouble broke out. The 39-year-old said: “There was somebody on the ground. It was out of control.
“A group of teenagers were chased out of the newsagents by a man. There was quite a lot of them.”
Mr Mihaylov said a group of teenagers ran over the zebra crossing outside the newsagents and a fight began.
He added: “People from the nearby bus stop came to intervene.
“The teenagers ran away when they heard the sirens coming.
“I tried to catch one of the last ones but I couldn’t react in time.”
