A man who tried to escape from police carrying £200,000 worth of cocaine in his car has been jailed.
Stephen Ryan, of Broome Way, Banbury, admitted possessing the Class A drug with intent to supply, dangerous driving and failing to stop on June 4. Oxford Crown Court heard the 56-year-old was arrested with 993g of cocaine with a purity of 72 per cent after driving away from officers.
He was jailed for five years and nine months for drug dealing and 12 months for dangerous driving, to run consecutively.
