A MAN and woman arrested after an escaped prisoner was found in Oxford have been released without charge.
Fugitive Michael Rothery, 43, was arrested off Abingdon Road, South Oxford, at about 1am on Wednesday after walking out of Spring Hill Open Prison near Bicester on Monday.
A 30-year-old Oxford woman was arrested on suspicion of obstructing a constable in the execution of their duty and a 54-year-old Oxford man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and obstructing a constable in the execution of their duty.
