An elderly man had to be freed from a car yesterday after it was found upside down in a ditch by the A40.
The man was found trapped in the silver Renault Clio at about 4pm and was freed by firefighters.
He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, but it is not clear how seriously he was injured.
The road was closed in both directions from the Burford Roundabout eastwards for more than an hour.
