SPLASHES of colour will hit the streets of a village this weekend after residents created more than half a kilometre of decorations.
Culham residents have rallied together for the last three weeks to fashion 600 metres of bunting in time for their weekend village fair.
Community group Ladies of Culham has been preparing for the Culham Show, tomorrow. The ladies are hoping to decorate the village from one end to the other.
Group member Cheryl Collier, 42, said: “The Culham Show is the first time the village has had a show in a number of years.

“It’s just to celebrate the good feeling among the village. I think the village seems to be really excited and certainly those of us involved are very excited about it.”
Mrs Collier has been using her creative flair to make the bunting at home with her children Callum, nine, and Kirsty, six.
She said: “I think it’s just to give the children a sense that they can be part of a community.”
The family event will take place between 1pm and 6pm tomorrow on Culham Village Playing Field, in The Glebe. Visitors will have the chance to enjoy a variety of stalls, fair rides, a bouncy castle, raffle and games.
The event will also include a barbecue, live music and a bar.
