AN author from Bicester has published the third book in his children’s series.
Peter Kavanagh, from Langford Village, has released Art Myatt and the Viking Treasure.
Set in the fictional Oxfordshire village of Brillion, the adventure novel follows on from Art Myatt and The Jewel of the Sun, published in 2013, and Art Myatt and The Little Green Dragon, released in January.
The 55-year-old self-published his stories, which are available as Kindle downloads and in paperback.

Mr Kavanagh said he had been writing short stories for about 10 to 15 years before he wrote the first of his books.
The Pipits Croft resident is married to Maggie, 50, and a grandfather of four.
He said: “The grandchildren aren’t quite old enough yet, but my three daughters, who are grown up now, are very proud of what I do.
“If it was not for my wife this would not have happened because, obviously, I have to shut myself away to write and she doesn’t mind.”
