On Monday evening I lost my black and white whippet on the top of Boars Hill. I was told by passers-by that she was heading down Hinksey Hill towards the A34. And she did indeed go on to the dual carriageway.
I am desperate to pass on a huge thank you to all the wonderful people who did their very best to assist me in finding her and to let them know she was finally rescued on the slip road to Kidlington. Bella is alive and well, her only injuries sore feet.
There are not enough words to show my appreciation to the coach driver from Southampton and the driver from Heathfield who finally managed to round her up. But thanks to everyone – the cyclist, the chap in the blue car and also to the chap in the pick-up.
