I AM extremely concerned about the number of rescue dogs coming into the UK from abroad, especially Romania.
We surely have enough dogs in Britain that need homes (ask Battersea Dogs Home).
There is a concern that many of these dogs have not been socialised and pose a potential danger.
There have been a number of cases of rescue dogs attacking children.
I would prefer to send money to have these rescue dogs put down humanely if they cannot be looked after in their own country.
The same applies to dangerous dogs in Britain.
I admire the British love of dogs (and am a dog owner) but good sense should prevail.
What about rabies and illegal entry into Britain?
