A 45-year-old Barton man caught growing cannabis has been spared jail.
Stephen Cooney, of Henry Taunt Close, admitted producing the controlled Class B drug in Oxford in July.
He was sentenced at Oxford Crown Court yesterday and handed a 10-month prison sentence which was suspended for two years.
He was also given a 12-month superivsion order and a five-day activity requirement.
