Man arrested in connection with attack in Blackbird Leys which leaves 30-year-old in hospital
A 24-year-old man has been charged following a sword attack on a man in Blackbird Leys.
Thames Valley Police were called to Prunus Close just after 2pm yesterday after a man in his 30s was assaulted.
The man in his 30s was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital following the incident.
A South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman said it was called to Prunus Close at 2.14pm.
The victim was taken to hospital with head injuries that were said to not be life-threatening.
Erdjan Malik, 24, of Green Hill, Blackbird Leys, has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
