A 19-year-old man was in a serious condition in hospital after a car crash on the A34 near Didcot.

Police were called to the scene south of the town at about 6am on Sunday and found the teenager trapped in a blue Renault Clio.

He was said last night to be in a serious but stable condition in the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
