A musician will stand trial early next year accused of a string of sex crimes dating back 40 years.
Philip Pickett, a wind instrument specialist, was due to appear at the Old Bailey yesterday charged with crimes including three rapes and eight indecent assaults.
But the 63-year-old, who lives in Lyneham near Chipping Norton, is to face trial in January after his barrister asked to delay the case.
Pickett denies three charges of rape and one of attempted rape between 1974 and 1988. He also denies eight counts of indecent assault and one of actual bodily harm.
